An emu and its chicks appeared unfazed as they wander right through a campsite in Murraylands, South Australia.

The footage, filmed on August 14, shows the emu family venture up to within a few feet of the filmer before calmly walking away.

"I wont lie, I was a little bit nervous. They just appeared out of nowhere. They move along pretty quietly so I didn't hear them coming. They are inquisitive. This one turned around and came back again about two minutes later to have another look around," the filmer wrote online.
