Many are feared dead after a tanker truck exploded in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State in central Nigeria on Wednesday morning (September 23).

Footage filmed by @OladapoMikky shows thick plumes of smoke rising up into the air as the fire from the explosion rages on.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 8:30 am when the tanker truck lost control and rammed into oncoming vehicles.
