Malaysia has recorded 57 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, with 49 coming from various clusters in Sabah.
In a statement on Monday, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said a new “Quarters cluster” was detected in the Tongod district in Sandakan with five cases recorded so far.
With the addition of the Quarters cluster, seven out of the country’s 14 active clusters are in Sabah.
