We tested out a popular style hack for transforming a silk scarf into a trendy halter top. There's lots of ways to turn scarves into tops, but this hack adds an accessory to change things up and create a top that can be customized. Insider producers Irene Kim, Kyle Kerchaert, and Nico Reyes followed Gabie Bassett's TikTok tutorial to see just how the hack works. They each styled their tops for a photo shoot and revealed the looks during the final reveal, where they decided whether the hack was a success or a flop.
