If you have travelled to Sandakan before, you may have also visited Kampung Sim-Sim, a small coastal village famous for its fresh and affordable seafood just 3km away from the Sandakan city centre.


This quiet small village with about two thousand voters recently made national headlines, after the DAP's Sandakan MP Vivian Wong claimed that the Perikatan Nasional government had cancelled a RM4.2 million allocation approved by the former Pakatan Harapan government for repair works of bridges in Kampung Sim-Sim.
