దేశవ్యాప్తంగా పలు రాష్ట్రాల్లో కురుస్తున్న భారీవర్షాలు అన్నదాతలకు ఆనందం కలిగిస్తున్నా పలు చోట్ల పంటలకు తీవ్ర నష్టం కలిగిస్తున్నాయి. భారీ వర్షాల ప్రభావంతో ఉల్లి పంటకు తీవ్ర నష్టం వాటిల్లుతోందని నివేదికలు వస్తున్నాయి. దీంతో మరోసారి తెలుగు రాష్టాల్లో ఉల్లి ధరలు మంటపుట్టించడం ఖాయంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. గతేడాది ఇదే సమయంలో ఉల్లి ధరలు భారీగా పెరిగి వినియోగదారులకు చుక్కలు చూపించాయి. దీంతో మరోసారి అలాంటి పరిస్ధితి తలెత్తుతోందనే ఆందోళన వ్యక్తమవుతోంది. ముఖ్యంగా గుజరాత్‌, మహారాష్ట్ర వంటి మార్కెట్లలో ఉల్లి కొరత కనిపిస్తోంది.
