Samsung's de-facto chief, Lee Jae-yong made a surprise visit to one of its electronics stores in Seoul on Wednesday,...just a few days after being indicted by prosecutors.
This was his first business-related appearance since the indictment.
He reportedly looked around Samsung's premium built-in home appliances and micro LED TVs before listening to opinions of customers from sales staff.
Pundits say such action is to show his will to overcome the current tough business environment as well as difficulties from COVID-19 by showcasing Samsung's premium product lines.
