Moments after news of Rhea Chakraborty's arrest broke on social media, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to Twitter to welcome the move. Shweta wrote, "#GodIsWithUs" along with folded hand emojis. Rhea was taken in custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drug probe. She will now be presented before the court on September 9, along with her brother Showik Chakraborty, and Sushant's staffers Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant.
