China on Monday adopted a decidedly unfriendly posture to the Indian Army’s question asking if five civilians who went missing from Arunachal Pradesh days ago were in the custody of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA). China has never recognised the “so-called ‘Arunachal Pradesh’, which is China's south Tibet region”, the Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian told a news briefing on Monday in response to a question about the missing Indians.

भारत-चीन के बीच तनातनी जारी है. इस बीच चीन अब दादागिरी पर उतारू हो गया है। चीन के विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्‍ता झाओ ल‍िज‍िन से जब अरुणाचल प्रदेश से युवकों के बारे में पूछा गया तो उसने भारतीयों के बारे में जानकारी देने की बजाय अरुणाचल प्रदेश को चीन का हिस्‍सा बता द‍िया। उन्‍होंने कहा कि भारतीय सेना के अनुरोध के बारे में उन्‍हें कोई जानकारी नहीं है।
