As parts of the country are experiencing icy weather conditions, Eskom ramped up to Stage 4 load-shedding yesterday. It says constraints in the generation supply have been caused by multiple unit breakdowns. Eskom’s head of generating units Rhulani Mathebula's been quoted as saying they need to find better ways to deal with its ageing infrastructure. Spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha spaks on this.
