Dozens of people have been arrested by police after environmental campaign group Extinction Rebellion blocked roads in their latest climate change ‘uprising’. Activists gathered in Parliament Square, Westminster, London to block access routes into Parliament. The group is calling on MPs to support their proposed climate and ecological emergency bill.
