Lakhs of students aspiring to enroll into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology sat for the competitive Joint Entrance Exam (Main) on Tuesday. The crucial tests were already postponed twice amid the Covid-19 pandemic and the risk that would pose students' health. However, the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the exams last month and they are now being conducted amid strict precautions.
