A motion to hold an urgent debate on Plantations and Commodities Minister Khairuddin Aman Razali's action of breaching the mandatory 14-day quarantine has been rejected by Dewan Rakyat speaker Azhar Harun.

Azhar, in a letter sighted by Malaysiakini, said the matter was not urgent as Khairuddin had already been issued a compound and that police investigations were now ongoing.
