Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob told reporters on Tuesday (Aug 25) that children aged 12 and below are allowed to wear face shields instead of face masks when attending school.

He said the government was aware that some families were unable to afford to buy disposable face masks which can be costly.

Ismail added that parents will be given a guide on how to properly clean the face shields.
