The festival of Shriradha Ashtami is celebrated on the Ashtami of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada. It is believed that Sriradha Rani was born on this day. Sri Radhaji had appeared from the Yajna land of Vrishabhanu. Sriradha Rani is considered as the form of Goddess Lakshmi. Worship of Lord Shri Krishna is considered incomplete without worship of Shriradha ji. Shri Radha Rani is the presiding deity of Lord Krishna's life, so God remains under them.

भाद्रपद माह में शुक्ल पक्ष की अष्टमी को श्रीराधा अष्टमी का त्योहार मनाया जाता है। मान्यता है कि इस दिन श्रीराधा रानी का जन्म हुआ। श्री राधाजी वृषभानु की यज्ञ भूमि से प्रकट हुई थीं। श्रीराधा रानी को माता लक्ष्मी का रूप माना जाता है। श्रीराधा जी की पूजा के बिना भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा अधूरी मानी जाती है। श्री राधा रानी, भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के प्राणों की अधिष्ठात्री देवी हैं, इसलिए भगवान इनके अधीन रहते हैं।
