Tathagata Roy, former Governor of three North-eastern states is all set to begin his next innings in politics. As he reached Kolkata on Sunday afternoon, Roy is counting his experience as the president of BJP’s Bengal unit from 2002 - 2006 and a member of the party’s National Executive from 2002 - 2015.

मेघालय के पूर्व राज्यपाल तथागत रॉय एक बार फिर सक्रिय राजनीति में वापसी कर रहे हैं. वे पश्चिम बंगाल की राजनीति में दोबारा वापसी कर रहे हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि बीजेपी द्वारा दी गई किसी भी जिम्मेदारी को संभालने के लिए एक बार फिर तैयार हैं. वे बंगाल में भारतीय जनता पार्टी के बड़े नेताओं में शुमार हैं. ऐसे में सवाल उठता है कि सक्रिय राजनीति में उनकी वापसी से बंगाल के आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी को कितना फायदा होगा.
