Demand for change in the party has intensified among the rebellious attitude of young leaders in Congress. 20 more Congress leaders have written a letter to party president Sonia Gandhi demanding change from top to bottom. These leaders include five former Chief Ministers, several MPs and former Union Ministers besides several members of the Congress Working Committee. It is clearly stated in the letter that the party is losing its support base and also the confidence of the youth.

कांग्रेस में युवा नेताओं के बागी तेवरों के बीच पार्टी में बदलाव की मांग तेज हो गई है। कांग्रेस के 23 नेताओं ने पार्टी अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को चिट्ठी लिखकर ऊपर से नीचे तक बदलाव करने की मांग की है। इन नेताओं में कांग्रेस कार्यसमिति के कई सदस्‍यों के अलावा पांच पूर्व मुख्‍यमंत्री, कई सांसद और पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री शामिल हैं। चिट्ठी में साफ कहा गया है कि पार्टी अपना सपोर्ट बेस खो रही है और युवाओं का भरोसा भी.
