After the decrease in water level of Gandak in Gopalganj, the water level has increased once again. Three and a half lakh cusecs of water was released three days before Valmiki Nagar Barrage. The effect of which is now being seen in Gopalganj. The Saran dam was broken in the district. There again, water has started increasing in flood affected villages.

गोपालगंज में गंडक के जलस्तर में कमी आने के बाद एक बार फिर जलस्तर में बढ़ोतरी हुई है. वाल्मीकि नगर बराज से तीन दिन पहले करीब ढाई लाख क्यूसेक पानी छोड़ा गया था. जिसका असर अब गोपालगंज में देखने को मिल रहा है. जहा जिले में सारण बांध टुटा था. वहा फिर बाढ़ प्रभावित गांवो में पानी बढ़ने लगा है.
