Umno secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa said there is nothing wrong for Barisan Nasional to "recycle" its candidate for the Tanjung Piai by-election as even the Prime Minister was "recycled".

Annuar was asked to respond to criticisms that MCA's Tanjung Piai division chief Datuk Seri Wee Jeck Seng, who contested the same seat in the 14th General Election, is a "recycled candidate".
