After having his statement recorded by officials from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) on Friday, Rozaidi Abd Jamil told reporters that he had no intention to cause panic with his Twitter posting related to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

MCMC called the Malaysian Artistes Association (Seniman) president up for questioning over the issue.
