Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad joked on the possibility of traffic jams in the sky when answering a question on the flying car.

At a press conference after the launch of the National Transport Policy 2019-2030 on Thursday, Dr Mahathir was asked if the country was ready, in terms of safety regulations, for a flying car given that a prototype will be ready by the end of the year.

He said Malaysia is not ready for the commercial use of flying auto-mobiles, as safety regulations are not ready.
