Thirty five elderly residents of a welfare home in Klebang Besar near Melaka have been left high and dry after the home’s caretaker abandoned them.

Attempts to contact and locate Pusat Kebajikan Warga Emas dan Anak Yatim Nazareth’s caretaker has been futile since he disappeared 10 days ago.

Klebang assemblyman Gue Teck and a group of volunteers visited the home on Sunday with food and medicine.
