The remand order for Parti Warisan Sabah president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal was extended for four more days on Monday after his lawyers failed challenge the legality of his remand in connection with the alleged embezzlement of RM1.5bil in rural development funds. His younger brother, Lahad Datu assemblyman, Datuk Yusof Apdal, was freed on a RM100,000 bail.
