PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has slammed PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, claiming that the latter had used Islam as a tool to lie and slander for political expediency.

Anwar, who is also the Port Dickson member of parliament said this during a Chap Goh Meh open house event in Semenyih, Selangor Saturday night, in reference to Hadi’s claims that there is a plot within Pakatan Harapan for a vote of no confidence against Pakatan chairman and Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
