Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said a strong dose of patriotism and fighting spirit needs to be cultivated by the next generation to protect and develop the nation. He also noted that government agencies such as the National Civics Bureau (BTN) were necessary to develop the right frame of mind and spirit.
