The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the awards to be given on the occasion of Independence Day. This year, a total of 215 police personnel will be awarded the Police Medal, 80 with the President's Police Medal for Special Services and 631 Policemen with Medal for Meritorious Work. Jammu and Kashmir Police has won the case for gallantry award. 81 gallantry awards have been given to Jammu and Kashmir Police.

गृह मंत्रालय ने स्वतंत्रता दिवस के मौके पर दिए जाने वाले पुरस्कारों का ऐलान कर दिया है. इस साल कुल 215 पुलिसकर्मियों को पुलिस मेडल, 80 को विशेष सेवाओं के लिए प्रेसिडेंट पुलिस पदक और 631 पुलिसकर्मियों को सराहनीय कार्यों के लिए पदक देकर सम्मानित किया जाएगा। वीरता पुरस्कार पाने के मामले में जम्मू कश्मीर पुलिस ने बाजी मारी है. जम्मू कश्मीर पुलिस को 81 वीरता पुरस्कार गए हैं.
