A press conference by Attorney-General Tommy Thomas at the lobby of the Kuala Lumpur court complex had to be cancelled due to security purposes when supporters of Datuk Seri Najib Razak turned rowdy. They chanted “Bahasa Malaysia” when Tommy spoke in English. The crowd then shouted “Melayu” and “Hidup Melayu” to drown out Tommy’s voice until he had to be escorted away.
