Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz has slammed the discriminatory policy of prohibiting front liners in the hotel industry from wearing headscarves. On Nov 11, the Malaysia Hotels Association told The Star that this uniform policy has been practiced by international hotel chains for a long time.
