When asked to confirm if the deceased was indeed Kim Jong-nam, the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said that the deceased will continued to be referred as “Kim Chol” as stated on his personal documents until further investigations.
