PAS and several Muslim non-governmental organisations have demanded a direct apology from Nanyang Siang Pau over a caricature by that was deemed insulting to Islam. Meanwhile, the Home Ministry has issued a show cause letter to Nanyang Siang Pau following the publication under the Printing Presses and Publication Act 1964.
