MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said DAP should prove its seriousness in opposing PAS president Datuk Seri Hadi Awang’s Private Member’s Bill on Syariah court amendments. Liow said DAP had misled the Chinese community into supporting PAS in previous general elections.
