On Wednesday, two people got trapped in the river near Chanti due to increase in water level of Sutlej river. The Luhri police team took both of them out safely. Local people also helped evacuate people trapped in the river. Both men landed in the Sutlej river to catch wood and got trapped. During this time, the resident of Behna village swam in Sutlej and reached the tube tied to the stranded people and took them out.

सतलुज नदी का जलस्तर बढ़ने से बुधवार को दो लोग छांवटी के समीप नदी में फंस गए. लूहरी पुलिस टीम ने दोनों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला. नदी में फंसे लोगों को निकालने में स्थानीय लोगों ने भी मदद की. दोनों व्यक्ति लकड़ी पकड़ने के लिए सतलुज नदी में उतरे थे और फंस गए. इस दौरान बेहना गांव निवासी ने सतलुज में तैरकर फंसे हुए लोगों तक रस्सी से बंधी ट्यूब पहुंचाई और इन्हें बाहर निकाला.
