Chilling footage from August 8 shows two boats capsize near the shore during high tide in the Kanniyakumari District of Tamilnadu.

Fisherman witnessing the incident from land can be heard howling for help and asking the drowning fisherman to swim and reach land.

"Incidents like these are very usual here," said a local fisherman.

According to local media, all the fishermen reached shore safely.
