With the death of Ashok Singhal, the Sangh Parivar has lost one of its sturdiest pillars. Within the Sangh Parivar he was considered a role model for pracharaks as a man who had identified his mission in life and knew how to achieve it.

आज जब अयोध्या में भव्य राम मंदिर की नींव रखी जा रही थी तो इस खास मौके पर लोग रामजन्मभूमि आंदोलन के अगुवा अशोक सिंघल को याद कर रहे हैं, जो कि अपने अंतिम क्षणों में भी राममंदिर की ही बात कर रहे थे. विश्व हिंदू परिषद् के वरिष्ठ नेता अशोक सिंघल ने 17 नवंबर 2015 में 85 वर्ष की अवस्था में दुनिया को अलविदा कहा था.
