Minister: No need to wear mask in private vehicles, fines to be cancelled

Face masks must be worn in crowded public places such as markets, tourist destinations and cinemas, clarifies Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Senior Minister said that in a press conference on Monday (Aug 3) and debunked false viral messages claiming that wearing masks in one’s own private vehicle was mandatory.

Ismail added that it was also not compulsory for children under the age of two to wear masks, nor was it compulsory to wear masks when engaging in physical activities.
