Preparations are in full swing for the August 5 event in Ayodhya where Prime Minister Narendra Modi's expected visit to lay the foundation stone of the Ram Temple. The construction of the temple will start with the ceremony to lay the foundation stone.

The event comes amid rising number of coronavirus cases in India as the country has reported nearly 17 lakh Covid cases. Stringent security measures will be taken at the ceremony and people have been asked to witness the grant event by staying indoors.
