IPL governing council is contemplating postponing the date of the tournament’s final from November 8 to 10 and allow its stakeholders – especially broadcaster Star India – to make further use of the Diwali week. A final decision in this regard will be taken when the GC meets in the next three days.

ऑस्ट्रेलिया में होने वाले टी20 वर्ल्ड कप के स्थगित होते ही बीसीसीआई के लिए आईपीएल करवाने के रास्ते खुल चुके हैं। टूर्नामेंट में 19 सितंबर को यूएई में करवाया जाएगा। पहले खबर थी कि फाइनल मैच 8 नवंबर को खेला जाएगा, लेकिन अब इसमें बदलाव आया है। खबर है कि फाइनल मुकाबला 8 की जगह 10 नवंबर को खेला जाएगा। अगर ऐसा होता है तो यह टूर्नामेट 51 की जगह 53 दिन का होगा।
