Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra finally approved to call the assembly session of the Gehlot government of the state. He took this decision in the late evening on Wednesday. The Gehlot government had demanded the governor to call the assembly session from 14 August. Earlier, there was a meeting of the Gehlot cabinet to call the session, in which the proposal was passed for calling the assembly session from 14 August. The proposal was sent to the Governor, which he accepted.

राजस्थान के राज्यपाल कलराज मिश्र ने आखिरकार राज्य की गहलोत सरकार के विधानसभा सत्र को बुलाने की मंजूरी दे दी. उन्होंने बुधवार को देर शाम को ये फैसला लिया. गहलोत सरकार ने राज्यपाल से 14 अगस्त से विधानसभा सत्र बुलाने की मांग की थी. इससे पहले सत्र बुलाने को लेकर गहलोत कैबिनेट की बैठक हुई थी, जिसमें 14 अगस्त से विधानसभा सत्र बुलाने के लिए प्रस्ताव पास किया गया. प्रस्ताव को राज्यपाल के पास भेजा गया था जिसे उन्होंने स्वीकार कर लिया है.
