As states are considering whether or not to reopen schools amid the coronavirus pandemic, parents are concerned.
According to UPI, a new survey shows that more than 40% of parents worry their children will catch COVID-19 at school.
The parents fear the children will then pass the virus on to more vulnerable family members.
In the survey, 90% of participating parents said they had "concerns," about reopening schools.
Nearly half said there were too many "unknowns" at this time.
The survey was released Wednesday by Nationwide Children's Hospital in Ohio.
