The first phase of clinical trials on humans of Kovaxin, India's first indigenously developed vaccine for the prevention of corona virus, began on July 24 at AIIMS in Delhi and a 30-year-old man was given the first injection. There was no reaction and he was discharged from the hospital after two hours.
