There will be no hike in water tariffs in light of the economic challenges faced by the rakyat due to the Covid-19 pandemic, says Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
The Environment and Water Minister said that when answering a question from Hulu Langat MP Datuk Hasanuddin Mohd Yunus during Minister's Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (July 21).
To a supplementary question by Hasanuddin, Tuan Ibrahim said the government is studying the feasibility of creating a "water-highway" to share water from states that have excess water supply with states affected by droughts.
