Initial trials held to test the efficacy of a COVID-19 vaccine formulated by the University of Oxford are expected to return with positive results on the 20th of July, 2020. दुनिया के कई देशों में कोरोना वैक्सीन पर रिसर्च चल रही है. कई देशों में वैक्सीन का ह्यूमन ट्रायल चल रहा है. भारत समेत कम से कम सात देशों में वैक्‍सीन कैंडिडेट्स का ह्यूमन ट्रायल पूरा किया जा रहा है. वैक्‍सीन बनाने को लेकर जो रेस चल रही है, उसमें फिलहाल ब्रिटेन, चीन, अमेरिका और रूस सबसे आगे हैं. इन देशों में अलग-अलग वैक्‍सीन का इंसानों पर ट्रायल ऐडवांस्‍ड स्‍टेज में पहुंच चुका है. जिसमें से एक ऑक्सफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी से है. देखें वीडियो
