The final match of the World Cup 2019 was played on 14 July at the Lord's ground in London, between hosts England and New Zealand. The match was won by the England team on the basis of boundary count. A day later, on 15 July 2019, the ICC announced the Team of the Tournament. The same team has again been shared by the ICC on its official social media handle, in which only two Indian players got a place.
