The water level of the Kanakai river in Amour block area has been increasing wildly for 3 consecutive days. Water has penetrated into people's homes in the region's Simalbadi. People are leaving homes and running in high places. People are forced to live with the help of a big bridge. No help has been reached by the administration yet.

नदियों में उफान और लोगों की बेबसी , ऐसा ही हाल है इन दिनों पुर्णिया के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों का । अमौर प्रखण्ड क्षेत्र में कनकई नदी के जल स्तर में लगातार 3 दिन से बेतहाशा वृद्धि हो रही है । क्षेत्र के सिमलबाड़ी में लोगों के घरों में पानी घुस गया है । लोग घरों को छोड़कर ऊंचे स्थान में भाग रहे हैं । बड़े पुल के सहारे लोग रहने को मजबूर है । प्रशासन द्वारा अभी तक कोई भी मदद नहीं पहुंची है ।
