Workers at a water pump station in Ahmednagar district, western India found a 10-feet-long python inside a large pipe on their campus.

The incident took place on July 6.

Akash Jadhav and his team from Wildlife Rescue Society drove to the water pump station to rescue the snake.

They explained that while it was fairly simple to draw the python out, capturing the huge reptile proved to be a challenge. The python continued resisting and swiping at the bag.

Akash Jadhav and his team eventually managed to capture it.

Akash said: “It was a full-grown snake, which perhaps weighed more than 35 kgs, and was very aggressive. We released it safely in the wild.”
