Celtics News: Celtics Send Off Kara Lawson With Heartfelt Tribute

The Boston Celtics sent off assistant coach Kara Lawson with a heartfelt tribute as she embarks on her first ever head coaching job. Lawson was down in the Orlando bubble when she was hired as the head coach of the Duke women's basketball team. Before she left, the Celtics surprised her by all wearing Duke t-shirts in respect for their coach.

Lawson wrote a touching caption along with the photo that read in part; "These men have changed my life. I have loved my time with the Boston Celtics. Our players are authentic, intelligent, creative and passionate men. They motivated me every day to be my best for them."
