A daredevil was spotted calmly taking photos on site when mud, trees and rocks tumbled down a mountain metres away in central China.

The shocking video was filmed in the city of Enshi in Hubei Province on July 13.

A man was seen holding a phone to take pictures next to the mountain when the landslide hit it.

A warning sign saying "the road at the front was under construction, watch out please" was set up on the site.
