This is the heartwarming moment a soaking wet puppy was hiding in under postbox during heavy rain.

Kindhearted passerby Non Patipan found the crying pooch from outside his office in Nakhon Si Thammarat, southern Thailand.

The lost dog appeared to be waiting for its mother who might have left him when the rain storm started.

All the poor mongrel could do was sit on the cement platform under the mailbox while getting soaked in the rain.

It could not step out because the roads were covered with ankle-deep flood water.

Non Patipan, a soldier, later took it inside the office, wrapping the little dog with a towel to keep it warm before giving it some food.

The lucky puppy has been taken well care of by troops in the military camp. It is now living with its siblings and mother after the army found them.
