A doctor removed three beans stuck in the ear of a 6-year-old boy at a clinic in Bac Giang, Vietnam.
According to the operating doctor, Dr. Hoat, the boy was taken to his clinic on July 3 for an ear test, claiming he had recently been experiencing an earache.
After using an endoscope to inspect him, the doctor was surprised to see the three beans clinging to the boy's ear canal. One of them had begun sprouting roots in the child's ear canal.
The doctor quickly removed the beans from the boy's ear, leaving no lasting damage.
The boy explained that while playing, he accidentally put the beans in his ear and could not take them out.
The doctor advised the boy's parents to watch him and to avoid repeating the same situation.
