Today is the birth anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and one of the main ideals of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Many Union ministers including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Bharatiya Janata Party leaders paid tribute to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on the occasion.
